* DH stands for "Double Header" league (two games a night during regular season play). Rec Leagues are meant for less skilled players only. Open Leagues are open to all levels of teams. Softball League Details:
- Number of Games: 8-game guarantee (including playoffs for all teams)
- DH Leagues: 14-game guarantee
- Time Limit: 55-minutes
- Game Times: Evening game times vary from 6-10PM. Afternoon games vary from 12-5PM.
- League Cost: See the tables below for Team and Individual cost per league
- Jerseys: Same color shirts only are required. Numbers are recommended but not required.
- Ages: 18+
- Style: 10 v. 10; roster size is 18 players maximum (co-ed leagues are 7 males & 3 females)
- Balls: Teams must provide their own balls for all leagues
- Note on Divisions: For leagues with divisions labeled “Rec, Competitive, A/B, etc.,” teams may specify which division they prefer to be placed in. However, MSSL reserves the right to move teams to a different division within the same league when deemed necessary.
- Weather Updates: All updates to Softball leagues related to weather will be posted to our Facebook and X (Twitter) accounts. Be sure to follow those accounts for updates related to rainouts, weather changes, or if a league is playing tonight or not!
- Forfeits: If you know your team will forfeit a game, please send a courtesy e-mail to us on our CONTACT PAGE.

Payment Information
We offer three options for registration payments:
- Team Cost: Team Captain registers and pays for their team’s entry into a league.
- Individual Cost: Register and pay as a Free Agent Individual and we will place you on a team.
- Split Payments with Teammates: When registering a team, choose to split payments! The team fee will be divided by the number of players on your roster. Players will receive an invite to join and play, and the captain can track payments in our Player Dashboard.
We have NO HIDDEN FEES in our league registration system. If a team registration fee is $500, it will be the same amount regardless of the number of players on your roster. We DO NOT charge fees to add players to your roster!
